– Flemming has an eye for current trends and is not afraid to launch new initiatives based on those to ensure that the company is well prepared for the future. His drive is an inspiration for the rest of the organization.
From Small Family Company to International Player
After finishing his degree in mechanical engineering, Flemming started at B. Bille A/S in 1993 – a company that was founded on the outskirts of Copenhagen in 1964 by his father, Bent Bille. The company quickly developed into a specialist in the design of industrial fans.
In 1995, Bent Bille decided to hand over the management of the company to his son, and in the following 10 years Flemming was the driving force behind the redesign of all the fan models and the development of a new series using 3D technology.
In 2015, Flemming seized the opportunity to sell B. Bille to the Danish company Moldow A/S to be able to expand together. After the acquisition, B. Bille, Barker Jørgensen’s Maskinfabrik and Moldow’s fan department were merged to create one strong fan company with great potential for international growth and expansion.
Flemming was appointed General Manager of the entire company, which also includes a branch in China. BarkerBille Fans Manufacturing Ningbo, as the Chinese branch is called, supplies fans to the entire Asia-Pacific region.
Flemming is 56 years old, has two daughters and lives near Copenhagen with his girlfriend Katrine. In his spare time, he plays golf and enjoys spinning and riding his mountain bike.
