Introduction of new industrial fan design line: Standard Line
BarkerBille introduces a new line of centrifugal fans as a cost-efficient alternative when needing smaller fans.
The new Standard Line of fans from BarkerBille is a standardized alternative to the custom fans specifically for air volumes up to 20,000 m3/h.
The standard line of fans will have the type designation of TP and differ mainly in the use of a standardized and slimmer impeller construction. With this, the fans become a great choice for smaller volume industrial fans with clean or slightly dust-filled air.
Energy and cost-efficient fans in a solid design
– The new TP impellers are designed with aerodynamic inlet and high efficiency, and with static parts and bearings identical to those of our thoroughly tested Industrial Line. This combination results in a completely new series of small energy- and cost-effective industrial fans in a solid design, explains Construction Manager at BarkerBille, Palle Shultz.
Standardization means that, unlike the fans in our Industrial and Heavy Duty lines, it is not possible to fine-tune the impeller parameters for complete adaptation to a specific task, which for small fans is less important.
First 26 Standard Line fans tested and shipped
The first two orders for TP fans have just been shipped to two of BarkerBille’s customers. The first order was for two clean air fans and the other for 24 fans for use at a painting facility.
– As the fan design was new, it was performance tested before shipping to verify the efficiency and performance of the fans, Palle Shultz explains.
– The test results were very satisfactory and matched the calculated performance of the fans, so we’re very confident that this design line will be a great alternative for our customers for certain applications.
