Exhaust and Supply Fans for Pharmaceutical Spray Drying Plant
For one of our customers within the pharmaceutical industry, we have supplied eight fans – four pairs with an exhaust fan and a supply fan.
At the pharmaceutical spray drying plant, the exhaust fan will operate at up to 18,000 Pa with a flow rate of 1,500 m3/h, and the supply fan at up to 10,000 Pa with a flow rate of 750 m3/h.
The required high pressure combined with the low airflow made our HT fan type from our Industrial line the optimal choice to ensure the requirements.
Sanitary Fans to Comply with Industry Requirements
Due to the application, a gas tight construction and design according to ATEX category 3G (zone 2) inside and outside was required. As usual, gas tight fans always go through a leak test at our workshop besides the usual FAT before dispatch.
The fans are made in a completely stainless-steel construction with a sanitary design to comply with industry requirements.
