BarkerBille has supplied three custom-designed fans to an advanced waste-to-energy facility in France. The fans will play a key role in the combustion process, contributing to efficient air supply and effective cooling.

Each fan was engineered for optimal energy efficiency, operational reliability, and long-term durability — tailored to the plant’s specific performance requirements.

  • Primary Combustion Air Fan
    100,800 m³/h | 5,500 Pa | 230 kW, IE3 motor | Operating temp.: 11 °C
  • Secondary Combustion Air Fan
    64,200 m³/h | 6,150 Pa | 147 kW, IE4 motor | Operating temp.: 62 °C
  • Cooling Air Fan
    5,500 m³/h | 4,200 Pa | 10.12 kW, IE4 motor | Operating temp.: 11 °C

All three fans were tested in-house according to the customer’s request to verify compliance with performance and energy efficiency standards. The results showed excellent efficiencies above 80% for the two larger fans and 75% for the smaller unit — contributing to low energy consumption and reduced carbon emissions, which are essential to sustainable operations.

The scope of supply included inlet silencers and acoustic booths for all three fans, helping reduce noise emissions. The primary fan was also delivered with an inlet suction box to maximise efficiency.
